One of my most favourite treats at Christmas is my Mother-in-Law’s (Mom) Tarte aux Sucre (Sugar Pie). It is creamy, sweet, mouth watering, and perfectly paired with vanilla ice-cream! I love it especially when it is still warm from the oven.
Just after I married her son, Mom hand wrote all her recipes and gave them to me as a gift. I love seeing her hand writing, and her short forms!
